SG-CP-11-12 Fitness for Work Policy


Symmetrical Group Pty Ltd recognises that fitness for work is a significant factor in the strategy to achieve a safe, health and injury free work environment. The misuse of drugs and alcohol, fatigue, stress and an individual’s general level of fitness are all factors that can impact upon the safety of the workplace.


Symmetrical Group has a duty of care to ensure that all employees, contractors and visitors are fit for work while they are on our work sites or undertaking activities on our behalf.


Our strategies to implement this policy are:


Where applicable, Symmetrical Group personnel shall adhere to the requirements of our Client’s Fitness for Work Policy. All Symmetrical Group personnel and contractors are responsible for applying this Fitness for Work Policy.


This policy has been reviewed and endorsed by the directors of Symmetrical Group who foresee benefits in, and take responsibility for, its successful implementation. By accepting employment with the Company, each employee accepts that he/she is responsible for the application of this policy.
